Water nuisance

My back door neighbour is building his house.All water for his construction falls into my backyard.It is seeping into crevices of the retention wall over which I had spent personal money.Despite telling him he has not made a way to drain the water from his house effectively..What legal options to I have?

Dear Client,
The act of causing damage to your apartment wall accounts to nuisance and your neighbor is responsible to get the water pipe repaired. You can explain your grievance to your neighbor and try to resolve the matter amicably. If your neighbor does not rectify it, you can send him with a legal notice demanding to repair the leaking water pipe. If they fail to repair it, then you can file a complaint to the local police for the act of nuisance and also file a suit before the jurisdictional civil court and seek for injunction to repair the water pipe and claim compensation for the damages caused. If required, you can consult an advocate for advice and assistance.
