Sale of Goods

Byjus book delivery delay

I had taken a coaching package from Byjus for class 11,12 NEET for my son. We paid in the month of July-August 2023, they promised books will be delivered. Its June 2024 now, we are still following up weekly yet no books being delivered, they say it's out of stock. Is there anything else i should do?

In this situation, after sending a legal notice, you can file a consumer complaint against Byju's under Section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act before the District Consumer Forum for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices and seek a refund amount. If required, you can consult an advocate for assistance and compliance in the matter.
