Q.Threatening through what's app message
Wat legal action can be taken if someone threatening you via what s app message. As he clearly mentioned tat he will harm you physically. As proof I have screen shot of this message.?

A. ) There are a variety of ways by which you can deal with such matters

1. Simply file a FIR in the local P.S or the Cyber Crime Cell
2. Nowadays you can directly file a case in the magistrates court as electronic evidence is admissible.
3. You can complain to the Dept of Telecom against such abusive and dangerous or threatening messages.

A. ) Dear client in your matter People can now file a complaint with the Department of Telecom (DoT) against offensive messages received on WhatsApp or any other social media.
The victim just needs to furnish a screenshot of the message along with the mobile number and e-mail it to ccaddn-dot@nic.in.
"If anyone is receiving abusive/offensive/death threats/ vulgar whatsapp messages ,please send screen shots of the message along with the mobile numbers at ccaddn-dot@nic.in
