Cybercell complaint status

In the absence of any source of information, it may be a difficult task to trace out whether any complaint of cybercrime is reported against you or you are involved in the crime by default. Even, you have no identity of the person who claimed himself to be an officer of the cyber cell about a year ago informing you about a registration of a complaint against you. You should have taken the steps once you were informed of the complaint from the unidentified source about a year ago or thereafter ASAP. However, now you can take a chance by contacting the District Cyber Cell to find out any clue behind the complaint and the status of the complaint. You can also post a query online to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal(NCCRP) at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in to find out whether any such complaint is pending against you or not.

Alternatively, you can file a Right to Information (RTI) request with the police department, check if there are online FIR tracking services in your area, seek legal advice from a lawyer, or visit your local police station for information. Additionally, ensure you check your email and postal mail for any relevant communications.
