Dear Client,
WhatsApp investment groups are not safe and risky. Scammers often use it to lure people for investment into fraudulent schemes by impersonating their identities to investors. Before any financial investment in a security and financial company, investors should check the ins and outs of that company to protect their investment from gambling. Being aware of the fact from MSFL that the persons engaged in trading through Whatsapp were fake, you continued your trading with them and ended up with a financial loss. You should have blocked the contact of the fraud traders carrying out WhatsApp messages and lodge a complaint/FIR to the local police station with whatever digital evidence you have and additionally report the matter online at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/ to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal(NCCRP), an initiative of the Government of India to facilitate victims/ complainants to report cybercrime scams or complaints online. Once a cybercrime scam is reported online to NCCRP, on the instruction of the Cyber Crime Cell, the investigating team starts the routine process of investigation immediately freezing the suspected accounts of fraudsters and the victim's Bank account and you have to wait for the completion of the investigation of the scam by the investigating agency. You can access the status of your complaint online at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in. The length of time it takes to investigate a cybercrime can vary greatly depending on the complexity of the case, the resources available to the investigators, and the cooperation of the victim. You may consult with a cyber crime expert or an Advocate handling cyber laws for further guidance and suitable steps.
