A.Your mother has the rights to lodge an FIR on the grounds of torture, harassment, threats etc.
Ask her to lodge an FIR and if it still does not prove fruitful she can proceed with other legal provisions which are there to help her.
But, a FIR is a must before taking any legal step here.
Thanks

Sir ,
We have taken recourse of a G.D. on 26th of March 2019. Again on 13th of April I had to request the local P.S. to visit our house as all of them came charging on my mother and I was out of station . After the police visit they are somewhat quiet but the aforesaid pilferage is going on . We are anticipating any underhand dealings regarding property etc . All the papers are in their custody . Maybe a 144 is the sole way out . That is for you to advice . Please forgive my temerity to even suggest . I am utterly helpless.

Sir,
We had taken recourse to a G.D. on 26th March 2019 . Again on 13th of April when I was out of station ; all of them charging at my mother . They threatened ,pushed and rained a volley of expletives on her and I had to call for police intervention . After that they are apparently quiet but the pilferage is progressing at a rapid rate . Since all the property related papers are in their custody and we are anticipating an underhand dealing regarding that matter may be an immediate 144 is the sole solution left . Kindly help and pleade forgive the audacity to even suggest 144 to a professional legal advisor . I am utterly.helpless.

Please contact me personally and we shall meet and then discuss how to deal with your matter.
Try filing a FIR [Not a GD] before the 144.
Thanks
