Contempt of court recieved from USA - Any impact ?
Hi Sir/madam,
I am Indian citizen and was in USA. Last year, April 2018, my wife filed a fake domestic violence case against me and took my child to stay in US permanently by taking asylum. I returned to India on May 2018 as my mother was sick and alone in India. I decided not to return to US. Now, I am getting emails from my wife lawyer that I have contempted court in paying certain amount every month and her lawyer sent me NISI to attend the court. However, I am not ready to go to USA again and asked them to send my wife and kid to India to settle case here. But my wife do no agree in it. My question is would that contempt court or NISI order will have any impact on me in India if I dont attend court in US ?

As per your statement herewith ,it is not very clear that where had dispute arised , perhaps your wife has files case in Indian court and having its murid fiction in India only. If any order has been pasand by this court , no other country vale to execute it , untill Indian court would issue notice or order through embassy.
Whereas, if she files case in India and trying to executive directly through US Lawyer , would no worth and no need to reply being in India , unless and untill you receive such notice or or any order through embassy.
You may consult for the same reason to discuss legal issue on my cell no. Given here.
Thanks
