I m married for last 8 years and we don't have any child so we want to adopt a newborn child of some known couple.What is the legal procedure as both parties are hindus.

A.You can adopt a child according to the adoption laws of your religion.
According to the Hindu Adoption Act.

You can adopt a child as per the procedure as laid down under Hindu Adoption and Wards Act etc.
