Certified copy

1)The opposite party filed a petition of list of documents and attached the documents. When I tried to obtain certified copy of the documents I was told that I can't get the certified copy of the documents attached which I need it for my exhibit. They only shared the certified copy of the list of documents petition. What is the law? Can't I get it? 2) If I file list of documents can't I get the certified copy of my documents as well for exhibit? 3) If no can I file a different petition and make it annexure, then apply for annexure since I got the cerfied copy of orginal petion's annexure.

Dear Client,
You are entitled to have certified copies of both exhibited and non-exhibited documents filed in the case by the opposite party once you file an application to the court registry along with requisite fees. If it is denied by the registry, you may file an application listing certified copies of the specific documents you need from the case file before the concerned court seeking an appropriate order in the matter.

Dear Client,
In order to have certified copy of all documents submitted in court by the opposite party, simply apply in prescribed form for the same. You also have to pay the court fees as per the prescribed rate in order to obtain the certified copies. Once you file a list of documents as part of your case, you will be able to obtain certified copies of the documents you file. You could consider filing a separate petition to incorporate the documents as annexures. In case, you are denied, file a motion before the court seeking an order directing the court staff to provide you with certified copies of the necessary documents.
