Vehicle blacklisted after noc is issued to second hand car buyer
Dear Sir, I have purchased one toyota innova from a broker and got the noc for transfer from the respective RTO, when i filed the noc in my location rto for transfer of vehicle, the process got delayed and I kept waiting for around 5 to 6 months, upon enquiring i found that the vehicle is blacklisted by noc issuing rto and now i cannot register a vehicle on my name. I have the issued NoC and tried talking to broker to take back the vehicle but of no use, i am finding difficulty registering vehicle on my name and in next 1 year the vehicle is due for FC, I am in deadlock situation. I went to the noc issuing rto and enquired the reason for vehicle blacklisting and i got to know that the RTO has misued her authority and siphoned tremendous amount of money which she received towards vehicle tax and many such vehicles are blacklisted. No one at rto suggests anything and i do not know what to do next. It is my hard earned money, please try to help me how can i come out of situation legally? The broker who sold car to me is of no use and no point in talking to him so please suggest me legal way how can i come out of this situation. Thank you
