The Stock and Exchange Board of India(SEBI) is the regulatory authority of all the stocks and security trading companies across the country. If you possess cogent evidence of crime or malpractice adopted or carried on by any company or entities, you may bring the matter to the notice of the Head/Zonal Head or GRO or Nodal officers of SEBI by lodging an online complaint or through email visiting the official website of SEBI and additionally, you can make a complaint online at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/ to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal(NCCRP), an initiative of the Government of India to facilitate victims/ complainants to report cybercrime scams or complaints online. Further, if the Company is registered under the Companies Act, then you can file a complaint before the Serious Fraud Investigation Office(SFIO), a wing of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs that investigates and prosecutes complex corporate frauds assigned under Section 212 of Companies Act 2013 at its regional and head office at Delhi and other state capitals. Apart from this, you can file a complaint against the malpractice of a stock trading company online to the Financial Intelligence Unit(FIU) - India, a wing of the Ministry of Finance or at their email address at complaints[at]fiuindia[dot]gov[dot]in or in offline mode to their office address available on their official Website. FIU-IND is the central national agency responsible for receiving, processing, analyzing and disseminating information relating to suspect financial transactions and an independent body reporting directly to the Economic Intelligence Council (EIC) headed by the Finance Minister for a resolution in the matter. Further, Project VIGEYE (Vigilance Eye) is a citizen-centric initiative, wherein citizens join hands with the Central Vigilance Commission in fighting corruption. Users can lodge their grievances and complaints online.
