RECOVERY OF UNAUTHORISED BANKING TRANSACTIONS RECOVERY OF UNAUTHORISED BANKING TRANSACTIONS

5 unauthorised transactions were occured in SB account on 05-12-2018.The first two transactions were under Payment Gateway and the next three under UPI fund transfer facility. An e-mail alert was received on 4 TH DECEMBER 2018 at 9.59 PM in respect of one item under Payment Gateway but two SMS were received on 5th Dec;2018 and no e-mail alerts were received either on 4th or 5th.I am usung SBI MAESTRO Debit card which is ineligible for UPI facilites.When approached to BANKINGOMBUDSMAN,KERALA,they declined to consider our request.Please advice the next steps to be taken in this regard.

A.send them a legal notice immediately followed by a complaint in concerned district consumer forum

A.Please send a legal notice to the bank where your account belongs.
Send the copy of the same to the Head Branch and to the RBI.
Direct them to repay your amount with compensation for such unauthorized and illegal transaction.
If they do not comply then you can take legal recourse.
