1. Is it possible to obtain certified copies of statements recorded before Magistrate by an Lady u/s 164 of Cr.P.C. by accused person, either through court or Police?

2. Can accused be arrested on behalf of statements recorded u/s 164 immediately or arrest is possible only after chargesheet is presented by IO to Magistrate?

3. Is there any bail provision in such cases?

Kindly suggest the process ?

A.Sir,
1) You can get certified copy from court only . Apply "CA"( Copy Application) before the court through lawyer and get the document.
2) On the Basis of U/S 164 Crpc statements the police can arrest and remand the accused.
3)As per your query it seems that U/S 376 IPC offence and bail may be granted after filing of chargesheet only.If there is any threat existing or facing by victim from accused the bail will be a discretionary power of the court.
