A.Dear client,
This kind of online data entry/part-time jobs is being offered and operated by Fraudster companies/entities to extort money from unemployed youths. So, on receipt of such an unethical and arbitrary threat or legal notice from such type of Company, just ignore it because the nature of the threats itself proves their ulterior motives behind the offer. However, on receipt of repeated calls or messages/emails demanding money for different purposes or threatening legal action, then make a complaint(GD) against the said Company at the local police station or Cybercrime Cell with whatever papers/documents or digital evidence you have and serve a legal notice to the company enclosing a copy of the police complaint(GD) informing them that you are contemplating filing a criminal suit against the Company for cheating and criminal intimidation u/s.318 and 351 of BNS. Hopefully, the matter may stand resolved thereafter. In case the matter is not resolved then consult with an Advocate for guidance and steps.

A.Dear client,
If you suspect that you have received money from scammers after completing a part-time job, it's important to act quickly. First, avoid using or withdrawing the funds you received, as doing so could complicate your situation. Gather all relevant evidence related to the job, including messages, emails, and payment details, as this documentation may be necessary for reporting the incident. Inform your bank about the transaction, as they can advise you on the next steps and monitor your account for any suspicious activity. Additionally, file a complaint with your local cyber crime cell and consider reporting the incident to your local police station if you feel threatened. Monitor your bank account closely for any unauthorized transactions and change your passwords to secure your accounts, enabling two-factor authentication wherever possible . Lastly, be cautious with future job offers that seem too good to be true, especially those involving receiving money upfront or performing tasks without proper verification. Taking these steps can help you mitigate potential issues and protect yourself from legal complications.
