A.Dear Client,
Article 25 of the Constitution of India guarantees freedom of religion to all citizens, including the right to change one's religion. Indian Constitution states that a person has the freedom to profess, practice and propagate any religion. For conversion of religion from Muslim to Hindu, you need to follow the steps stated herein. Step 1) Affidavit: First you have to make a religion change affidavit. An affidavit is an essential and legal document made on non-judicial stamp paper of appropriate value that contains all necessary information about an applicant. Step 2) Newspaper Ad: The next step towards religious change is to give an ad in leading newspapers to ensure there is no objection to changing your religion. Step 3) Gazette Notification: After doing the above-given steps, you will have to publish the same in the Gazette as it must be accepted and considered in the Government record. Once you file for the Gazette application and then the religion change will be successfully published in the e-Gazette. Submit an application informing conversion of religion along with a copy of the Affidavit, Newspaper Ad and Gazette Notification to the concerned authorities whenever and wherever required for updating your record. It is essential to follow the correct procedure to ensure that the conversion of religion is recognized by the concerned Authority.
