Regarding NOC Regarding NOC

Hello Sir,
I am currently employed in a PSU. I want to join another PSU but my current employer doesn't provide NOC.. it keeps application for NOC holding and never disposes it off.
The only way left is to hide the fact of my current employment in job application.
I want to know the consequences of it. Is the suppression so critical to cost my job?
Please advise. Also suggest any alternatives.

A.You should never suppress such facts.
You should talk to your previous employer and send them a letter to give you the 'NOC' in writing.
If they do not comply then you can send the legal notice.
Keep all such things as proof which you show to the current employer. He/she should understand the circumstance.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply sir, But the problem is if I show that I am working in a PSU in job application.. I will not be allowed to appear for the interview if I don't have NOC.. and legal proceedings will take time..

You have already resigned I believe and hence your CV should contain the same.
When asked for NOC you can take all proofs and explain your current employer that the previous employer is not ready to give you the NOC and that you have taken steps against the same and shall also furnish the same as soon as you get one.
Hiding such facts can lead you into trouble.

A.Do not hide it as it will be detrimental to your career in future. You do one thing send a reminder letter to your current employer with copy of receipt and show that copy to the future employer as a proof. Secondly if they do not give you the NOC in a given time frame then send them a legal notice to either give the NOC or reason for not giving it.
