We are human
Vedanta company had purchased buxite ore from OMC for its own business and was carrying it through NH 326 for 6 years and was driving it in collaboration with the government. The truck used to run 24 hours, people were losing their lives due to accidents, students have lost their lives due to accidents. Anyone who came out to protest was being sent to jail. People had also filed PIL, still no work was given. Now Vedanta has again changed its transportation route in collaboration with the government, that route is very narrow, has sudden turning, up down, there is a small pushing bridge of railway which is very small and it has been approved by PMGSY. People's daily life is linked to it. Once transpotting of 500 trucks starts, a very dangerous accident will happen. This area is a tribal area, the people are very uneducated. There is a possibility of death due to accident every day. Is this how we should handle it? Which provision government has to apply for the transportation of bauxite ore permission to Vedanta company on rural road with 500 truck.
