Self driving rental cars

I am from Erode, Tamilnadu. I would like to start a self driving rental car business with my private vehicle. Is it possible to rent them without converting them to commercial one? how to start a platforms like zoomcars and so and so companies which are using our private cars for rental purpose by attaching our vehicle with them?

Dear Client,
A private vehicle cannot be used for commercial purposes without the permission or approval of the concerned authority under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. You should visit the office of the concerned office of the RTO/Registering Authority under the M V Act for more information in this regard and comply with the formalities/procedures as advised by the authority for the purposes.
