My wife is one of 3 legal heir of property inherited. Elder sister had taken legal documents and to show the property to a neighbor who was interested in purchasing it. Now she is not returning the documents and keys and forcing my wife to sell on her terms which is not acceptable to my wife. My wife can't access to the property. Kindly advise. Thnx

A.The sister cannot sell it as she needs the consent or NOC of all legal heirs.
Ask you wife to file a partition suit and also pray for stay of any sale or agreement to sell made for the time being related to that property.
Thanks

A.Dear Sir,
Just ask your wife to file partition suit and get an interim stay order on such proposed sale. Everything comes in your favor.

A.Without your wife, being the legal heir, signing the sale deed the sale cannot happen. So, don't give up to the arm twisting tactics of her sister. Even she cannot sell it alone and buyer knowing this will be buying.
