Immigration consultancy not providing refund
I initially decided to pursue a job opportunity in Canada through Wider World Immigration Services and made two payments totaling ₹50,700 (₹17,000 and ₹33,700). However, due to financial difficulties, I chose to withdraw my application. Since no service or legal agreement was signed, I requested a refund. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them via phone, email, and WhatsApp, they have not responded. Previously, they would answer calls promptly, but now they are avoiding all communication. When I finally reached them they claim to spend the amount for visa filing and documentation so it's impossible to get refund from government but in their process statement it says "Wider World Immigration prepares a legal agreement for the processing before we start up your Documentation & Visa Filling (Signup) process." Since we never signed this legal documents how can they claim they spend it on process.
