Entering as one of the legal heirs into the property

In the year 2021, Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA) was merged with the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Legal heirship certificate is not granted by the court, it is given by the Municipal Authority, Tahsildar or Revenue Department. This legal heirship certificate shall suffice to apply for the mutation of records in joint names and also for the transfer of all other records with various authorities. Once a mutation certificate is issued by the Land Revenue Department, NOC is not required for a change of ownership in the property tax bill of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).
