Change of dob in passport

Actually I had issued my passport first when i was a minor and that time without the knowledge of my parents i made a fake birth certificate with incorrect dob 1999 (a year younger than orignal) which i had submitted for my passport ... i have recently renewed my passport as a major(18+ age)
I had done this because all of my friends did the same for some sports age criteria benefit... which is now costing me a lot
I have different dob in my 10th marksheet and orignal birth certificate(1998 correct/orignal)
as compared with my current passport (incorrect a year younger than orignal).
I know i have not done right by providing wrong birth certificate leading to wrong dob in passport ...
I didn’t change it all these years because I didn’t wanted to tell all this to my parents but recently they noticed it when I recently renewed my passport and it got delivered at home...
And now i need to get this corrected by any means... for which i need some serious guidance that can help me change my incorrect dob of my current passport to the orignal one similar to my 10th marksheet
I will be looking forward for any suggestions or guidance on the same
