The Gazette Notification is an official publication that legally recognizes a person's new name. The first step for an online name change is drafting an affidavit for a name change. You need to obtain an e-stamp paper of Rs.10 or Rs.20 or the minimum value required by the respective state. After obtaining the e-stamp paper, you need to print the affidavit for the name change on the e-stamp paper. After preparing the affidavit and getting it attested by a Notary Public, Judicial Magistrate or Oaths Commissioner, you need to publish a newspaper advertisement for the name change. The name change advertisement should be published in one national or regional newspaper. The advertisement should include the old name, new name, residential address, name of the attesting authority, and the date and place where the affidavit was made. The last step for changing the name legally is notifying it in the State Official Gazette.. You must submit the required documents, printing charges and the request letter to the Controller of Publications, Department of Publication, of the respective State Government. After verifying the application and documents, the concerned authority sends it for publication in the Gazette to the government press. Once published, the Gazette Notification will be sent to your address. The application for name change can be made both online and offline.

5) AFFIDAVIT : ( If Any Made for any reasons like Numerology, Astrology, Marriage, Passport, Adoptions etc )
6) APPLICATION FORM : Duly Signed Application Form with OLD & NEW SIGNATURE other details like Old & New Name, NEW Correspondence address, Contact Details & reason for Name change
7) CASTE CERTIFICATE (IF ANY) : SC/ST/NT1,2,3
8) LEGAL DOCUMENTS (ANY ONE OR AS APPLICABLE) : Affidavit / Marriage Certificate/ Nikah- nama / Adoption Certificate/ Divorce papers/ Divorce Decree etc.
9) MOBILE NO. : For OTP
10) EMAIL ID : For LOGIN & GAZETTE COPY
