Company under Liquidation

Hello There.
there is land at certain place, named having the ownership of the company but due to certain losses, the company got wind up and is in liquidation.
so as to return the amount back to investor, certain land was taken in to consideration, as such after the auction of land the amount would been returned to investors. but after many hearings and etc. the case got disposed of during 1994 still the land is not auctioned. after that the directors of the company during that time provided the company to me with all its legal rights. As i am the director of the company now, i want to solve the case and also clear the land and refund the amount back to debtors.
But currently i am not able to find the original sale deeds of that time. is it that the sale deeds of the land would have been taken in to custody by the official liquidator or high court where the case was disposed off???
please let me know asap.
