Legal issue related to Real Estate Builder Legal issue related to Real Estate Builder

Hi Sir/Madam-I bought a flat last year June 2018, in an apartment of 288 flats and recently there is a legal case going on between the Builder and the Owners of the apartment regarding many issues like handover of the project, defects in the building, violation in DTCP act(s)/RERA, non-compliance of Sewage treatment plant, non-compliance of lift license etc. Last year 2018 December, owners of the flats formed an association without the consent of Builder. Till March 2019 owners association took care of the day to day maintenance services. Builder disowned the association and filed a case against them. From April 2019 Builder suddenly formed a new association by appointing some of the owners in the flat to take care of the newly formed association. Now there are two association present in my apartment one association formed by the owners another formed by the Builder. There are minor issues in my flat like water seepage etc. and when i approach builder he ask me to join his association to get it rectified. I have already paid maintenance charges for 1 year till June 2019 and from next month onwards i need to start paying maintenance but don't know to which association i need to pay. I haven't joined in any of the association, since i dont want to get into any legal issues. Now my concern is should i join any of the association? what are the implications if i dont join any of the association. Kindly advise

Thanks & Regards,
Arun
