What will happen to our insurance claim

My brother passed away in a car accident on January 26, 2025. His two-wheeler license was issued in November 2004 and had an expiry date of November 2024. On the same license, he obtained authorization for a car in March 2009, but no expiry date was mentioned for this category. What will happen to our insurance claim in this case?

Dear Client,
Until and unless a driver's license is renewed within the scheduled period, it becomes invalid and unenforceable. So, when your brother met a road accident while driving a two-wheeler without a valid driving license, the Insurer/Insurance Company shall repudiate/reject your claim. An authorization to drive a vehicle has no role or significance once the validity of a driving license has expired for a lack of renewal.
