Tsrtc employment suspension and removal
Respected Sir/Madam, I am seeking legal advice regarding my father's employment issue with Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) and the denial of any alternative job for him or his family. My father, [Father’s Name], was working as a [Job Position, e.g., Driver] in TSRTC. He was suspended due to a drunken driving allegation, where the recorded inhalation alcohol content was 15 ml. Later, he appealed the suspension, and the Regional Manager reinstated him to another depot. However, during the mandatory medical test at the new depot, it was found that he had color blindness and blurred vision in his left eye. Due to this, he was declared medically unfit to continue his job. Now, TSRTC has not accepted him: A suitable alternative non-driving job despite his years of service. Compassionate appointment for his children, stating that no such provision applies in this case. Legal Concerns & Request for Advice: Is my father eligible for a non-driving post in TSRTC under medical grounds? Can TSRTC legally deny compassionate appointment to his children? What legal provisions or precedents support his right to alternative employment? What steps can we take to challenge TSRTC's decision legally? I request your expert guidance on how to proceed with this matter and any legal actions we can take to secure justice. Thank you for your suggestion.
