Divorce - our marriage was short-lived

I got married in court in January 2018 in mumbai. However, our marriage was short-lived, and we separated after just one year. Now, after almost five years of separation, my wife and I have decided to get a divorce. We're unsure about the next steps 1. What's steps we take 2. What is first step for that 3. How much time taken for this process 4. How to reduce time 5.how much money needed 6. What is document required.

Dear Client,

As you and your wife have been separated for almost five years and mutually agreed to divorce, you can proceed with a mutual consent divorce.
First of all consult an advocate and file a joint petition for mutual consent divorce in the Family Court. The general time for getting a final decree is 6 months to 1 year. But the court have the power to court waives the 6-month waiting period, then it can be completed in 2-3 months.
The question of Money is depended upon state to state and lawyers to lawyers.
Documents Required to file a mutual divorce are:
1. Marriage Certificate,
2. Address proof of both spouses
3. ID proof
4. Proof of separation (any rental agreements, address change, etc.)
5. Mutual agreement on alimony, child custody (if applicable), and property division.
