my wife wants a Qulanama Divorce
My wife wants to do Qulanama ( Divorce) with me. Local Jamaath is not considering stating that any Nikkah done by Jamaath that was later registered in India will not be considered by Jamaath. I want to understand the procedure to help my wife get this since she is looking for an Independent life. We have been married for 25 years and We have 16-year-old daugter which she is ready to give to me and want to leads her own independent life. Though I don't want it however I respect her decision and am tired of arguments every day, I simply alone cannot keep the relationship running with no support from the other end. I am not blaming any one, I am tired and exhausted .and I am close to 50 and want to spend the next 10 years fulfilling my daughter's education and want to see her succeed. I don't have any other goal in life. I heard qulanamma can be applied with Stamp paper and my wife needs to apply in Family court and processing time is 2 to 3 months, Is this better option than Mutual divorce? and also want to apply for Legal Guardian for my daughter Parallely. Kindly advice
