Manufacturing Defect in Car from Day 1

My MG car bought on Dec 26 has a manufacturing defect from day 1. The dealership sent the car to service center and it has been there for more than 1.5 month. Neither dealership nor manufacture responding on the status of the vehicle or returning the vehicle. We have even served them legal notice? What are my options here now?

Dear Sir,
You may send a second legal notice which must be strong stating that you will make the issue viral on the social network even then if no response is received then approach the Police and at last approach consumer Court.

Dear Client,
On detection of defects in the product post-purchase and during warranty, is termed and defined under Sec.2(34) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 as "Product Liability" which means the responsibility of a product manufacturer or product seller, to compensate for any harm caused to the consumer by such defective product manufactured or sold or for a deficiency in services relating thereto and Chapter VI, Section 82 to Section 87 of the Consumer Protection Act deals with product liability. Given the situation, file a complaint against both the dealer and the manufacturer for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice before the District Consumer Commission under Section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 claiming replacement of the vehicle or refund of the cost of the vehicle along with compensation for harassment and cost of litigation. The complaint should be filed within two years from the date of the cause of action.

Dear Client,

As before you have already served a legal notice and there has been no response then now you can file a case before the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission asking reliefs :
1. Replacement of the vehicle; 2. Refund of the vehicle price with interest; 3. Compensation for mental agony.
Consult a Lawyer and File a Complain and you can add the legal expenses as a compensation.
