What the following S C ruling infer " To put the
record straight, it is also provided that the legal representatives of the respective
parties, as substituted in this appeal, shall stand substituted in the writ petition and
the High Court shall proceed with the matter after amending the cause title
accordingly."

A.It is nothing but a direction given to the HC to substitute the names of the dead people with their legal heirs and to change the cause title accordingly and thereafter proceed with the matter.

A.Dear Sir,
Since because one or more of the parties to the petition might have died during such proceedings. So Supreme Court directed the High Court to substitute the names of legal heirs of respective deceased person/s and accordingly amend the cause title and proceed with the case. Such amendment does not effect your rights in any way.
