Compensation for delay in possession of flat

hello my self sreekar two years back we bought a flat ( landlord share flat ) from a landlord. our landlord made development agreement with vasavi group ( builder ) now the project got delay so flat owners fight for compensation and the builder was agreed to pay compensation @20rs per sft to builder share flat owners only not for landlord share flats when we question the vasavi group regarding compensation they denied to pay compensation by saying this reason: the project was delayed due to landlord dispute. the builder always separate flat owners as builder share owners and landlord share owners for every thing like meetings and site visit e.tc the builder even Not caring of landlord share flat owner and our landlord also not taking any responsibility. In development agreement compensation clause was mentioned that is 6rs per sft but we are feeling 6rs per sft is unfair why because present all house owners are increased rental rates . in this case can we get same compensation for landlord share flat owner ?
