Dear client,
In certain circumstances you have the option of obtaining of quashing of FIR , if you believe that there are no evidences and the case has been lodged with false grounds.
The "referred further action dropped" status indicates that the investigation has been closed, and no further action is being taken against you.
File a quashing petition in the High Court under Section 482 CrPC to remove your name.
If the court agrees that the case was wrongly filed or closed, they will order the FIR to be quashed. This will ensure your record is completely clean.
After the FIR is quashed or officially closed, you can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).
This certificate confirms that you have no pending criminal record.
It is useful for government job applications.
Visit the concerned police station and request a copy of the FIR and closure report.
If the FIR is already closed, it should not affect your chances of getting a government job.
However, if a background verification is conducted, it is better to have the FIR quashed so that there is no record at all.
