Summer internship

I did summer internship in a certain company. The clause in the agreement says "any information given to the trainee shall not be used for any other porpose" . But I shared some data with my college professors and a friend for education purpose nothing else. I did not sell the information neither I gave it to the company's competitors. I want to know if i can go to jail for this if yes how can I prevent it. What are the other options available.

A.Till the time the interning company does not come to know about the same nothing shall happen.
