Fraud by giving fake contract notes by subbroker of equity market

First of all do not give any more money to the sub-broker. The fact that he hasn't provided original contract notes and keeps demanding more money is a form of cheating.

Check His SEBI Registration if he's a registered sub-broker or just pretending to be one if he is associated with a registered broker or not. If he is not registered, it strengthens your case for fraud. Thereafter file a Complaint with SEBI.

Applicable if the sub-broker is threatening or harassing you for more money.

Relief: File an FIR at your local police station with supporting documents such as payment proof, fake contract notes, and communication records.


Remedies under SEBI Regulations
If the sub-broker is registered with SEBI or affiliated with a registered broker:

a. File a Complaint on the SEBI SCORES Portal

Provide copies of all evidence, including fake contract notes and payment records.

b. Report to the Stock Exchange (NSE/BSE)
Use the exchange's investor grievance redressal mechanism to initiate action. If misconduct is proved, SEBI or the exchange may suspend or cancel the sub-broker's license.

Relief: SEBI can direct refund of money, take disciplinary action, and initiate arbitration.

You may initiate a civil suit before the competent Civil Court for:

Recovery of the funds given to the sub-broker

Compensation for financial loss and mental harassment

Relief: The court may order refund with interest and damages.

If services were promised and not delivered, and the sub-broker acted fraudulently:
Check if the sub-broker is officially registered with SEBI or a brokerage house

Send a legal notice demanding refund and warning of legal action

Preserve all documents and communications as evidence

File a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
