As per the Cancellation of Admission and Refund Policy (ISC) 2025-2027 of the CISCE Board, admission fees paid to the school will not be refunded under any circumstances. The parents who wish to cancel the admission of their ward should give their written application, signed by both parents/ whoever signed the admission form, seeking cancellation of admission. 'The policy for refund is as under - (a) If communication in writing for withdrawal is given to the School at any time on or before 31st March, 2025, then 100% of the tuition and Term Fees will be refunded along with the Caution Money deposit refundable (except Admission Fee), (b) If communication in writing for withdrawal is given to the School between 1st April, 2025, and, 6th April, 2025, then 50% of the Tuition Fee will be refunded along with the Caution Money Deposit - (Except Admission Fee and Term Fee), (c) If communication in writing for withdrawal is given to the school at any time on or after 7th April, 2025, then Fee will not be refunded, Only Caution Money Deposit will be refunded. Given the refund policy of tuition fees and other charges of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), you need to be guided and assess your right to claim a refund from the respective School affiliated under the ICSE Board. Thus, from the considered point of view of a legal counsel, after accepting the above-stated refund policy of the Board, the parents are estopped from claiming their refund from the School, unless their claim comes under the purview of the refund policy. Be informed that only in case of deviation/discrimination/mala fide in the policy or rules of an establishment, if it appears on the face of the record, parents can challenge the said policy in the Court of law; otherwise same would be rejected for lack of merit.
