Credit card account fraud
MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT FRAUD TRANSACTION HAPPENED AND REGISTERED CYBER CRIME COMPLAINT. I received call from YES Bank Credit card department executive on last week of July month 2024. She started to explain YES bank Repay credit card process details, initially I told them I am not interested in YES bank Credit card but finally she convinced me to buy YES Bank Rupay credit, and she initiated for applying YES Bank Rupay Credit card. When applying YES Bank Rupay Credit card she instructed me that you can’t be able to get Rupay credit card directly, first you must buy master credit card after couple of days you have to activate digitally Rupay credit card I agreed to the above terms. After applying, I received YES Bank credit card on august month first week 2024 after that I received a call from YES bank credit card department saying that you will get call from the bank for activation of rupay card digital activation purpose. They instructed me that your credit card is not activated digitally in our system, if you’re using the card without activation, you will be added additional charges in your upcoming billing cycle, so they told me that you must activate it before using your YES Bank credit card in the YES bank system. I followed asper YES Bank credit card executive instructions and without my knowledge and without my consent I was lost money Rs 2 36,300/-. After this incident happened, I got one more call form YES Bank for large amount transaction verification to verify the legitimate or genuineness of the transaction, In that call I clearly told representative that please stop all payment transactions because these transactions are disputed/fraudulent and those are not initiated by me for this (you can check the my call location and the transaction location you will get to know that transactions are fraud) After that YES Bank large amount transaction verification call, the representative person cross verified transactions, he told me transactions are already executed (transaction happened before large amount of transactions verification call), so you have to fill all details to a cardholder dispute application form (CDAF) and share the details through my registered email id with the YES bank customer care department. Based instruction I was filled all details and shared cardholder dispute application form (CDAF) through in my registered mail id and I requested to block all transaction on 5th august 2024. When incident happened at that moment itself, I was tried to register a complaint to cybercrime department through Cyber Crime Helpline portal is 1930. Cybercrime department person wants transaction id details for taking complaint. After that I contacted YES Bank customer care for collecting transactions id. YES bank customer car executive told me that at this moment I can’t be able to give transactions ID and can’t be able to block 5th august 2024 transactions, because transactions are initiated. Transaction id will generate after settlement process happened, so I can’t be able to give transaction id. Why YES bank customer car executive did not stop before settlement for those transactions. They don’t have any option or SOP. Why YES bank customer car executive not initiated chargeback request to payment gateway (i.e. MOBIKWIK & NOBROKER) also. if this type of incident happened, they don’t have any option or SOP in our Indian banking sector to protect our customer or public interest. From the YES Bank Side, I did not get any customer support to recover my dispute amount within 24 hours. After 24 hours I collected three transaction ids from YES Bank customer care executives (one transaction id not given). Based on this transection id, I register a complaint in cybercrime department and waiting for the resolution.
