I want to buy a land which is registered for Rs 15 lakh.The market value as per registrar office today is Rs 10 lakh. The seller rs ready to sell for Rs 10 lakh as he is in need of money.Can I buy and register the plot for Rs 10Lakh and pay the stamp duty and registration charges for 10 lakh or do I need to pay stamp duty on 15 lakh even after buying the property for Rs 10 lakh.
