Online app fraud

The question is someone on dating app liked my profile message mein on the chat and ask to meet and have chat also and she claimed to come at her choice place and she order everything without giving me a detail of it and made lot of amount bill and they done fraud with me as I became victim of it

Dear Client,

It's a common tactic where scammers lure individuals to a chosen location, often a restaurant, and then stick them with an outrageously high bill. Immediately gather all evidence, including chat screenshots, the scammer's profile details, the restaurant name, and the exorbitant bill with transaction proof.

Then, contact your bank to report the fraudulent transaction, as they might be able to assist with a chargeback. Most importantly, report the crime to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or file an FIR at your local police station or cyber cell. Finally, notify the dating app about the scammer's profile to prevent further victims.

Just forget the incident otherwise you may be further cheated. In future you must be more careful in dealing with persons through online Apps. They may lodge any complaint and you will be victim.
