I have legal custody but my parents are not letting me take my daughter
I am the biological mother of my 8-year-old daughter and have legal custody of her. I recently remarried and want to take my daughter to stay with me and my husband. She wants to come with me and often feels left out and emotionally hurt. However, my parents, who have raised her so far, are refusing to let her go. They say they won’t let me take her for one more year, and if I insist, they threaten to cut all ties with me. My ex-husband also visits their house frequently, which is emotionally disturbing for both me and my daughter. I have already informed DCPO and CWC, but no real action is being taken. How do I handle this without causing legal drama or hurting anyone emotionally??
