ews certificate of valid year

I have ews certificate of valid year 2023-2024. But the. Recruitment authority said to bring Ews certificate of valid year 2022-2023. But the tehsildar said that it is not possible to generate that time certificate. What should I do now?

Dear Client,
The EWS certificate is issued based on the family income of all members, including the candidate, of the preceding financial year. So, if you need an EWS certificate for the FY 2022-23, you have to apply after 31st March, 2023. EWS certificates are typically valid for one year from the date of issue. Since the financial year 2022-2023 ended on March 31, 2023, any EWS certificate issued for that period would have expired by March 2024. So, the stand taken by the Tehasildar appears to be correct. To be valid for applications or exams in 2025, you would need to obtain a new EWS certificate for the financial year 2023-2024 or later.
