Khata
Sir my son bought a flat in Bangalore last year October. We had given 50000/- extra to the previous owner for some adjustment against his cheque dated 1st July 2019. He was always a trouble creator. We haven't transferred the khata to our name yet. Anyway applied now. But as of now, the khata is still in his name. Will he have any hold on this point to create problems to save his 50k? Property is registered at the sub registrar office. Should we wait till the khata is transferred and present cheque later or can we encash it?
A.Dear Sir,
You can get issue a legal notice after bouncing the cheque. you need not wait further because you have regd. sale deed . Please come to my office for more legal advise.
