hi,In 1991 general power of attorney made & executed b/w land owner(muslim) & buyer,later in 2000 BDA acquired the land,with him almost 20 members buyed property ,and how to get property back

A.dear client in your case As per the guidelines of Apex Court for execution of property GPA is not enforceable, it should be duly executed with registration with the concerned authority. It is better to consult a property lawyer to guide & help you quickly.

A.The buyers under any instrument, on notification of acquisition by BDA or for BDA should claim their rights before the acquiring authority, usually Land acquisition officer and obtain a reciept, enquire whether the buyers in your matter have done that, if not the seller will have collected the compensation. So, you can learn the present position by writint to BDA.
