I want a divorce from my husband,he ii treats me and calls me names which are too painful for my ears.We have a home in a joint name.My father funded the house and now my husband is just paying the loan.Since I am not working,I don't earn and am totally dependant on my husband's salary.i will need alimony and a place to live.I require legal advice.please help me

A.You can file a divorce petition before the court on the grounds of mental cruelty. Along with it file another case under sec 125 crpc claiming maintenance.
You can also make a complaint at the nearest police station under sec 498A.

A.Dear Client,
You can file divorce for abusing , harassment for mental, physical also Domestic Violence case wherefrom you you and your children may get compensation for rearing children and self maintainence expenses of dy to day living as your standard.
You have also equal right on property given by ur father, no matter he pays installments, you may also claim under DV Act for shelter as u have right on property.
