Recover my money

I gave a friendly loan to my friend. Now he is bihar his hometown and I am my Hometown kolkata. I gave 1.5 years ago 2.5lakh in online and rest of 60k cash but now situation he and his family refused to pay me and not recieved my phone, sometimes they promise to payback but on date they don't. Now what I do . Please help me

Dear Sir,

File a Civil Suit for Recovery
If he doesn’t respond to the legal notice:

File a Money Recovery Suit in the Civil Court in Kolkata (as the transaction happened from your location).

Suit should be filed within 3 years from the date of loan.

You can claim principal + interest + legal costs.

Dear Client,
In the given scenario, in the absence of any written agreement or contract and collateral security in the form of promissory note or post-dated cheque, the recovery of loan from your so-called friend, is not feasible even through litigation. However, you may serve a legal notice to your friend demanding refund of your loan with interest, which may work or may not work.
