Regarding 2b category

Sir my father is an primary teacher(group c) and he is earning 11 lakhs per year ,age is 57 years ,and I'm also in police constable job with 6 lakhs per annum ,I'm preparing for other gov jobs ,so recently I checked can I get 2b certificate or not ,then I can to know it is possible to get 2b certificate since the law states that only group a and b employees salary will be counted and group c employee salary is not considered,so please clarify regarding this, please

Dear Sir,
Since your father is earning more than Eleven Lakhs per annum as such you are not entitled for such 2B Certificate. The employees of State Government whether there are working in 'D' or 'C' Group not exempted from excluding their salary from calculation.

Dear Client,
The eligibility for an OBC NCL certificate is determined based on the annual income of the applicant's parents if the income falls below Rs.8 lakh in a financial year. As per the revised order of the Karnataka State Government, the family income limit for Category 2B, claiming reservation, is 8 lakhs per annum. The income of the parents from the salaries and other sources (income from agricultural land) is determined separately. If the income of the parents from the salaries or other sources ( income from agricultural land) exceeds the limit of Rs.8 lakh per annum, the sons and daughters of such persons shall be treated as the OBC creamy layer category. You may visit the office of the concerned Tehashildar, DM/SDM, for more information and clarification on the subject.
