Family pention

According to West Bengal Services (Death-Cum-Retirement Benefit) Rules, 1971 , a Family pension will be payable from the date following the date of death of the Govt. servant to any of the following members - 1. Widow/Widower up to the date of death or remarriage whichever is earlier, 2. Minor Son/daughter ( including adopted sons/daughters) in order of birth upto 25 yrs of age., 3. Physically handicapped/Mentally retarded child for life. 4. Dependent unmarried/Divorced/widowed daughter beyond 25 years till marriage/remarriage. 5. Dependent Mother 6. Dependent Father, (Family pensioners mentioned in Sl No 3 to 6 above will furnish the required certificate/s of eligibility for continuation of the grant of benefits). You can make an online application along with all the relevant documents that support your claim of family pension to the Principal Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal, Kolkata at their official website: https://cag.gov.in/ae/west-bengal/en or email to agaewestbengal@cag.gov.in, requesting them to consider your claim as per the rules, failing which you may escalate your grievance before the Ministry of Personnel Pension & Public Grievance Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare either online or offline mode.
