Planting and growing tress near the boundary wall

The boundary wall around my house was constructed by me.My adjacent neighbour who shares this compound wall is deliberately growing trees very near to the wall in his plot.Due to this cracks are formed in the compound wall and the wall is leaning slowly .What can I do legaly in this regard?

Dear Client,
Any act or omission affecting a common boundary wall dividing the two plots of land is not permissible under law and the aggrieved land owner can make a complaint to the concerned authorities, i.e, Municipal Corporation, Tehashildar or Land Revenue Deptt. seeking their involvement for a resolution. If your complaint or visit to the concerned authorities yields no result, you may approach the Civil Court having jurisdiction over the suit property, seeking injunction and appropriate relief, including compensation for damages caused owing to negligent act of the neighbour. If required, consult with an experienced property Lawyer to navigate the issue in the right way.
