CARS24 - Not repaying the amount
I'm writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service provided, particularly concerning the auction process and the promises made by your agents. My key concerns are as follows: Discrepancy in Auction Process: The auction mechanism presented to me differs significantly from the actual process implemented. Features, such as the bidding option, appeared to be enabled only after my direct communication, and even then, I was restricted to a maximum bid of ₹1.13 Lakh, which I find unreasonably low. False Promises and Misleading Sales Practices: I was informed by your agent that inspection reports would only be provided after purchasing the service package. During the package selection, your agent strongly steered me towards the ₹799 "PAN India" package, assuring a "good auction amount," despite my initial interest in the ₹499 option. I now perceive this as a deceptive tactic to upsell a more expensive package under false pretenses. Unsatisfactory Auction Outcome: The final bid outcome appears to be a "least bid" scenario, which I suspect is not a genuine reflection of the market, but rather a superficial exercise ("eyewash"). Systemic Issues: My experience aligns with similar concerns raised by other consumers on various online forums, suggesting a pattern of problematic practices. Given these serious discrepancies and what I perceive as dishonest sales tactics, I demand a full refund of ₹824 for the package purchased. I find it unacceptable that such a small amount cannot be refunded despite the clear misrepresentation of services
