I have stayed with my girlfriend in hotel using my wifes id card. Which she recently found out. She is now going for a divorce . She has also threatened me of grave consequences. Legally I would like know where my situation stands and what are legal punishments that can be given by court.

A.Legally you stand no chances our laws are very clear & well defined you will be in more trouble than you can think. A.If a wife wants a divorce with some ground like what you did, she might succeed. I don`t foresee any more danger to you. O would suggest you to some how pacify her by promising not to do such things again, and keeping the promise.
